China’s consumer and producer prices both stepped up stronger than expected in September in a signal of economic stabilization, A-share market rebounded after a week-long holiday, CES A80 rose 1.4% last week.

Hong Kong market tumbled during the week, among which Chinese shares suffered the most. CES HKMI dropped 3.3% while CES SCHK 100 declined 1.9%.

For cross-border indices, mid-cap benchmark CES280 recorded a gain of 1%, outperformed large-cap benchmark CES120 (-0.5%).
